Changes to Interviews (Interview Names, Notifications and Video Interviewing *NEW*)

There have been a few small changes made recently to the interviews module in Zoho Recruit.

Interview Names

Based on recent feedback, we have changed the names of Interviews for greater clarification:

The interview names are as follows:

Internal

  • Recruiter Interview (Internal)
  • Colleague Interview (Internal)
  • Potential Member Interview (Internal)

Client

  • Phone Interview (Client)
  • Skype/Video Interview (Client)
  • In-Person Interview (Client)
  • Final Interview (Client)

Interview Notifications

A few changes to Interview Notifications have also been made as indicated below.

Client Job Title

  • All Client notifications now use the Client Job Title vs the Talencity Posting Title
  • All Candidate notifications use both the Talencity Posting Title and the Client Job Title 

Interview Create and Reschedule Notifications

  • If you do not want any notifications sent to either the candidate or the interviewer(s) then select the DO NOT NOTIFY checkbox in the Interview Details Page
  • If you do not select the DO NOT NOTIFY checkbox you will have the opportunity to send or skip either the Candidate and/or Interviewer notification in the next step

Interview Cancellation Notifications

  • If you do not want any notifications sent to either the candidate or the interviewer(s) then select the DO NOT NOTIFY checkbox in the Interview Details Page BEFORE you cancel the interview
  • IMPORTANT - you do not have the option to choose to only notify the candidate or interviewer for cancelling the interview this option only exists for Create and Reschedule

Video Interviewing

Zoho currently has a beta of Video Interviewing and it is set-up in our account. A video interview is a self-guided interview that a candidate can record based on a series of pre-determined interview questions (assessment questions) that are recorded and and then sent to the interviewer (ie. recruiter). Only select the Video Interview option if this is your intention. 

A video interview is not a 2-way video chat interview (ie Skype or Zoho Meetings). 

We have the ability to have 1-active job at a time to conduct video interviews with (under our current licensing).
